I guess I am not surprised by this.

On one hand, yes, Paramount is sleazy and since they did it to Blu-Ray you have to anticipate they would do the same to HD.

On the other hand, if you think about it, where would they sell these discs now that Netflix won't touch them and Best Buy will steer people the other way.

There are still 7 titles active on their release slate. We should know for sure by March 4th wether they continue HD DVD support for those titles in question.

I'm hoping we get quick BD announcements/releases for Sweeney Todd and There Will Be Blood to replace the HD-DVD cancellations.

Well I'm all the more glad I nabbed their missprinted Jack Ryan set. Lets just hope the rest of those titles aren't gonna be caught in limbo for years.

IGN says Bee Movie has been cancelled as well, but I never trust IGN for accurate news.

Someone needs to let Dreamworks know that the war is over. Honestly, how much more definitive can Toshiba quitting be.

I believe it's a contractual thing. Toshiba has to tell DW that it's ok to proceed with Blu.

When Toshiba quit, contracts were null and void. I think K is looking for the rest of his contract to be "settled" aka pay more of the 100 million.
