Poor guys wanted to make BR discs, but...

How sad is this? Here you have a company wanting to produce BD's and while they aren't "on the approved list" they will likely go belly up (for many reasons). Still, it's sad.

Are you in a mood? I dunno, I thought it was an opportunity to create jobs, get more BR discs out there (given the supposed replication issues noted on this forum) and would have been good for the local economy.

All that effort for naught. To me that's sad Mr. Moody.

I've had no problems finding BD replicators for my clients. The prices are insane, but so were DVD prices a decade ago.

It looks like this guy was doing it backwards. You get the paperwork done first, then you buy the equipment. Silly person.

It does seem kind of silly to build everything up without licensing the technology first. So while I don't doubt that the Japanese are trying to control the pressing plants somewhat, these people just plain don't have any business sense.
