That cover color scheme is flat out awful. I know covers don't make the movie but the shade of blue looks horrific in my eyes with the red. And NO I am NOT implying a red/blue thing like some might assume.

Awful.

Ditto! And it's nice to see WB using TrueHD more these days. Hopefully it will continue.

Agreed. I think Paramount has finally caught on, and Universal has seen the light as all their titles will have DTS-HDMA when they release. Warner seems to be the only studio that still uses lossy codecs. I hope that changes.

I think he is too hard on the movie itself. Sure it's a bit cheesy and not scary at all, but I think that it is still a fun movie. I am encouraged to see the great transfer on it.

I rarely pay attention to Bracke's film reviews--and I'm still wary of his technical comments.

I do find some value in his technical comments. His film reviews are okay here and there. You can tell he does have certain biases towards certain types of movies, but don't we all?

I don't like snuff films, generally.

This scene just sings in HD.

P.S. Did they edit the scene where David and the other vampires kill those punks dancing around the fire? I remember it being more brutal, with a scalping or ripping off of a mohawk bit.

Yeah all the musical sequences sound really amazing actually. That scene you mention where they kill those punks does seem more brutal. Maybe it's that i can make out more of whats going on now. And the audio was so good, I never realized it was Walk this Way with Run DMC playing lol!
