I'm very curious to see how the TrueHD and Mpeg 4 transfer stack up against the overseas DTS MA 5.1 and VC-1 transfer that I have. Hopefully Netflix will have it and I can compare.

I have been waiting to pick up 1408 in the hopes of an HD release. This will be mine in a few weeks.

I'm a big King fan (only books I've read in the last 15 years are his) and while many of his movies from novel suck, many rock. Does this one rock? If so, here is one more nudge to BR for me.

Who am I kidding, I need a BR player damnit!

I was tempted to buy this on dvd, but I held out. I am really looking forward to owning this movie.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say it "rocked," but it was enjoyable enough in the theater. I don't know if I'd actually buy it to watch again, but it didn't suck, which rare enough for a film these days.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I thought it was done really well and while Cusack was Cusack, playing a similar character to all his movies, but its definitely worth a viewing or two.
