The Proposition

I just got the Proposition yesterday and it was still as fantastic as I remembered it being. Did anyone else buy this? If not, you should because it is a great work. Mine acted really fucking strange when I first put it in. It would not allow me to skip over any of the previews and shit. And then when it finally allowed me to view the menu, it didn't work right. The select button always opened the chapter select menu, which meant you couldn't even select chapters. When I went to play movie it displayed an assortment of zeros. I finally figured out that you had to the right button instead. What the fuck?
So I watched the movie.
Then, just to humor myself, I took the disc out and put it back in and this time it let me skip the previews and go right to the menu, which magically worked this time.
I thought I understood the world. But now I question if I ever knew anything at all.

Was this a rental or did ya buy it?

I believe it is the studios first release on the format. I got this coming on route from Amazon but don't expect to get it until next week.

No problems with my copy on a Panny BD-30, either of the times I loaded it. What player are you using?

I bought it new and i use the PS3. I was also thinking that it might be first release glitches from that studio, but then it fixed itself. Perhaps the disc reached a certain level of cognition?
