Ne-Yo - In My Own Words

I liked Stay, So Sick and Sexy Love, so thought I'd give the album a go. Nice production and vocals.

Jagged Edge - Jagged Edge

Long time JE fan, so added this to the collection. It's got that JE sound, which works for me.

Cassie - Cassie

I liked Me&U read some good reviews, so gave it a go. Not bad for a debut. All production is by the same man.

Beyoncé - B'day

I've enjoyed most of Destiny's Child's music, really like her first solo album, so I had no doubt about buying this. She wanted a different sound to her award winning first album and I think she has achieved it. This is a great follow up to a very successful album with great production from Swizz Beats and The Neptunes, amongst others.

Justin Timberlake - FutureSex / LoveSounds

As soon as I heard Timbaland was involved with this album I was interested, despite it being Timberlake. I'm very impressed with this album, it sounds different from the first and the tracks Timbaland has produced are nice, particularly 'My Love.'

Compilation - A House full of Friends

Awsome compilation of local bands that played house parties at the record labels founder's place. Includes such notable bands as The Shins, The Minders, The Decemberists, Mates of State, The Lucksmiths, et al. Includes "do it yourself" instructions to throwing a house party with a real-live band.

Not a bad cd at all. Has a blues kind of feel and sound to it. It has the same Mayer type lyrics and the music is nothing but easy listening. I like it and might be seeing in Toronto on Saturday as part of a free concert for a Best Buy opening

Beyonce is doing a free concert the day before for the store

its a bunch of skits, like an Adam Sandler cd, but these are funnier. the first track about the fantastic four arguing about Mr Fantastic's name is hilarious.

Finally got around to picking this up

Matthew Sweet fan, when I saw this I couldn't resist. 15 covers of semi-obscure 60's classics.

Rebuying this after having lost/was stolen my last copy.

15 cover tracks of Elliot Smith songs by Portland, Or artists including The Decemberists, The Helio Sequence, The Thermals, and Lifesavas. I'm really into the local scene right now, and I love Elliot Smith. This is a really nice tribute album.
