Last CD Purchased

I figured since the Last DVD Purchased thread in the Software section, I would make a Last CD Purcahsed thread here in Music. Wether you buy it in the store. Digitaly download it. Burn it (or recivie the burnt copy). Get it CD or even vinyl. Post here

My last CD(s) bought:

Tailb Kweli, Quality
Marlyin Manson, The Last Tour On Earth

I got them both for a total of $10.60 at Media Play last Sunday.

Throwdown - Haymaker. What Hatebreed would sound like if Phil Anselmo was on vocals. Good stuff.

My last 2 CDs purchased were:

Johnny Clegg New World Survivor

Johnny Clegg and Savuka Live and Rarities

Both are South Africa imports, delivered from SA for $34 total. Thank God for the internet - the New World Survivor CD went for $42 recently on eBay!

My last two were Outkast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below and Anthony Hamilton's Comin' From Where I'm From, an alledgely copy-protected cd that may not be so copy-protected after all.

Donkey, just got it the other day in the mail and after 2 listens, I gotta say, it's pretty good. A little too much barking from the drummer, but all in all, a really catchy and still pretty heavy album. If you liked the song "Denial," you'd probably like this record. Hooky choruses (thanks to production by ex-Marvelous 3's Butch Walker), but like I said, I'd like to hear just a bit less of scream-o the drummerboy every song. The dvd that came with it isn't bad either. I got the set for 9.99, and if you can still get it that cheap, I'd say go for it.

I know how you feel !

Special Request To The Thread :

Could some kind, person, here, start a different thread about "new bands we should be listening to", to get us out of our cultural rut, and start appreciating some of these new bands ????

Thanks so much !!! There are only so many Old Bands, and there is so much GOOD music out there, by bands, some of us, never heard of !
