iTunes Music Video Compression

Does anyone know what compression they're using for the music videos? They look like absolute ass.

I can't remember where it was, but there was an online article about this a while back. I guess some of the videos were re-encoded from other encodes and whatnot, making for some nasty clips.
I totally agree with you, which is why I don't really buy any music video content from the store. Or any video content for that matter, switch your setting on the store sometime and check out Canada's selection for TV shows and movies, N-O-T-H-I-N-G!
