Eagles - Long Road Out Of Eden
The Eagles new release, Long Road Out Of Eden, arrives October 30th.
Now it's only being offered through the Eagles store, Wal-Mart or Sams. I was wondering why would they limit themselves like that? Or am I very behind the times? I know online downloading is huge and something I've not done. Maybe the Eagles are trying to stick it to the 'man' and avoid all the middleman stuff? Is this something new artists are getting into?It is a double CD at only $11.88 (physical), $10.88 (digital). So somehow passing the savings onto the fans? I'm just thinking they are missing the casual buyer (volume). I'm just not understanding the marketing. Any thoughts... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Road_Out_of_Eden Last edited by iluvalex : 08-29-2007 at 10:37 PM. |

I bought and so far i like. I found most of the songs on disc 1 (songs 2-5) a bit too much like the one before, but there are still plenty of clssic Eagle songs on there. So have been listening to more of the 2nd disc then anything as the title track "Long Road Out of Eden" is feels like their new "Hotel California" that fans will be waiting for them to play. Its a classic song and one of the best out of the 20. Personally i like the harmony of the voices and i just love "Center of the Universe" and "Waiting in the Weeds" For the less then $12 price tag and 20 songs from on eof the best groups out there its a no brainer of a buy.
