I guess the cheese factor IN using the song is personal BUT as long as the the movie itself isn't cheesy, it should be fine.

DOWW, DOWW, DOW DOW DOW
DOWDA DOWDA DOWWDA...DOW DOW DOW!

I think it's got just the right balance of cheese so that it's more like, "This is ridiculous... but awesome."

I really enjoyed the trailer, I am looking forward to this even though I was late to the comic (read it for a bit in the mid to late 80's when he changed to the white and red suit)

I just did a massive cataloging and inventory. And after selling off quite a few unwanted one-sheets, I have about 100 tubes left which house 4 to 20 posters each. I also have a few flat files that house my rare and prized posters.

100 tubes, where do you store all these? And I hope you label them all.

Most are in the Star Wars room and in a few closets. I do have a good labeling system. One day, when I’m super rich, I’d like to have a hallway to nowhere with 50 or so revolving poster frames. Yes, that will go nicely in my palace of crazy.

That is one poster I really like. And when I'm rich, I'm gonna have that hallway to nowhere be a secret passage to my place where the ultimate theater will be built. It will be a Batcave Theater! And yes, you will have to pass thru PH's place to get to it.

It is a very beautiful poster. I will probably get it closer to when the movie comes out. Pirate, you are one of the funniest guys alive. Same with Iggy.

And, apparently, we're going to be living together. I hope Iggy doesn't mind nude jazzercising...

WAIT!

Hold on there bubalou, I said the passage to my uber Batcave would pass thru your place. That don't mean living together pal. I know THAT would NEVER work based on our speaker/sub preferences. Capish'?

Nude jazzerwhatever is ok as long as Natalie Portman is leading the class!

HAW!

That would imply that we, at least, live on the same compound, so you’d still be subject to nude jogging and nude wiffleball.

No, she’s still very much a student. Mario Lopez is the teacher.

Must be me and 'suits' of late but damn if that don't look "plasticky". No, plasticky ain't a word but you get my drift.

Don't get me wrong, they got it down but yeah...plasticky and the geek or nerd or whatever in me says: WANT METAL LOOK!

I agree with what you're saying Iggy, however there's probably a reason for it.

If they give it a more metallic look they'll probably have to make it a more shiny & reflective which probably would cause problems.

Of course I'm just pulling this out of you know where and am just guessing

..and it still looks pretty good

By the time they get to the 3rd sequel in the franchise, they will be wrapping Robert Downey Jr in Tin Foil and calling it his "retro" look just to cut down on expenses.

I haven't been reading too much on this but I never saw it confirm it one way or another: Is the suit practical or CGI?

I can't tell either way from that other then the plastic look

I am getting interested in this movie more and more.

Loved the Superbowl commercial.

Only complaint- in the first full trailer I didnt like how they used Black Sabbath's "Ironman" in it. Thought it was too cheesy.

I think the May 2nd date to kick off the summer movie season is a great spot for them and should translate to some success $$$ early on.
