i wasnt crazy about the first hellboy, so i may leave that one to rental.
Is it me, or has Del Toro gone overboard with his visual style being in every movie, but to a repetitive level? The creatures in Pans, the ones in Hellboy 2 trailer, another has escaped me, all very similar. I know directors do that, and it makes them unique and gets a name for them, but for me there is always a point where they need to break out or it becomes a parlor trick. |

Ugly-It reminds me of some Early 90's movie, but I can't place it. Or, it reminds me of every early 90's movie.

I like the new one. Actually for the very reasons sub780lime dislikes it. It's a classic event movie one-sheet. ![]()

I like the new one as well but since I know of the character already I guess I was hoping for the simplistic, "think about it" kinda poster. Maybe Iron Man II will have what I'm talking about if that makes sense.

I'm in the minority here, but I love the hell out of the new one sheet, in fact anyone know where i can purchase a copy?
I like the US version of the poster more so than the international, and for the same reason that I like the poster for The Rocketeer.

I too like the new and final poster art because it reminded me of The Rocketeer poster. (com on Disney make it Blu-ray already) Sure the advance one sheet is also cool but i won't complain about this one even with all the characters on it

I'm gonna put my prediction down on this movie:
I think it's gonna be relatively huge. It may do almost as big of box office as Transformers.

I wouldn;t bet against Iron Man vs TDK.
I think Iron Man is shaping up to hit the mainstream popular talking points more than this sequel to Batman will. Batman is just not FUN enough for people. And from what I've seen of TDK, it looks like it will be work for most normal people to sit through it. Iron Man out-Batmans Batman in what most people want to see: I think that people want to watch a rich guy use his wealth (not be ashamed of it like Bruce Wayne is) and they want him to have style while womanizing and carousing (which Bruce Wayne doesn't). Tony Stark is who Tony Stark is. Iron Man is just Tony Stark in a powered suit, protecting his business interests (and occasionally doing selfless acts). Bruce Wayne is a facade - The mask that Batman puts on so that he can have the resources he needs to fight crime.

I havent been this pumped up to see a SuperHero movie since, well since never. And that includes all the Spidey movies, all the Xmen movies, all the Batman movies, and the lesser ones as well (DareDevil, Elektra, FF, etc...)
I take that back. Not since the original Superman movie have I been this pumped up. Just from watching the Trailer for Iron Man over and over, Im gonna go out on a limb and say this will go down as the best, crowd pleasing SuperHero movie of all time. So I think it will be HUUUUUUUGE at the box office. 350-400 Million dollar huge. |

No they chose Robert because hes a great actor to watch and fits Tony Stark almost perfectly.
That said, what would an egotistical billionaire be without lots of drinking. ![]()
