This Nolan interview is a couple of weeks old but quite interesting:

Totally agreed, anyone still bitching about the new batsuit should just sit in the corner and think about what they did wrong. Goddamn this looks amazing.
The 6 minute prologue I saw in IMAX was just kick ass.

![]() Maybe the Bat-geek in me just wants everything to be perfect. Anyway, I thought the trailer was phenominal. The one shot of the Joker looking up and to his left was downright creepy. Like I've said, I expect Ledger to BLOW us away with his Joker and the trailer certainly seems to confirm it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch it again, and again, and again. ![]() |

The trailer does nothing wrong really and just gets you pumped for another batman movie....and I must comment (while the wifes not around ) how darn sexy Maggie looks.

Ok, so I had this burnt to a DVD within a fwe minutes of it's release and it's been playing quite often in my theater. I'm having a hard time picking my favorite moment, it's all so good. I think the best part may be when Joker says "Like me". It strikes me as so "matter of fact" and joyful, that it's disturbing.
It's going to be a long seven months.

The trailer is better than most action movies put out these days--this movie is going to ROCK!! (Big surprise there
)Nolan + Bale = best Batman on film. Period. All the other films should just fade away. Nolan + Ledger = Best Joker on film...Nicholson who?

Um, there's only one Nolan film right now. Yeah, The Dark Knight looks awesome, but geeks always turn viciously on a franchise at a certain point (Spider-Man 3 anyone?). And I don't recall Michael J. Fox-cam action scenes and crummy Hans Zimmer synth music in TAS.

Spider-Man 3 wasn't nearly as awful as fanboys made it out to be.

That's awful.
Comparatively "Spider-Man 3" did suck. There were far worse films in 2007 and it wasn’t as bad as some made it out to be . . . but it wasn't a good film.

Spidey 3 suffered the same problem as the latter Batman films, too many frickin villans in a movie. Sandman, Venom AND Harry? And in the commentary they actually mention Venom was thrown in because fans demanded it, they wanted a Sandman centric movie with Harry as a side story.
In any case, yeah it's still a decent movie, on par with the 1st Spidey I'd say(2 being the best).
