That's a cool looking suit. Hey Umaine, who do you think Wayans will play? He's pretty far down the list so maybe he's only got a minor role (if being down the list is indicative of that)?

my absolute favorite childhood cartoon and toy to watch and play with.

I'm a little leary about how they're going to pull this off but can't wait after seeing that Snake Eyes picture.

Now the question is, who is going to play and what will Cobra Commander look like

Well IMDB says Ripcord so I guess depending on how much time they sped on a plane.....

yes apparently the film centers on the rise of the Cobra Terrorist Organization. Joseph Gorden Levitt's character is apparently a Joe for most of the film but get kicked out for some reason and becomes The Cobra Commander!!!

my only question is which Cobra Commander costume are they going to use?

The Hooded look?

or the Helmet look?

I'm sure this will be one of those productions that will want people to see what there characters are going to look like. So far Snake eyes is spot on. If they go with the hooded CC I'll be all for that I sure Joseph Gorden Levitt would be too. As long as they don't tame the action down for kids it should be a decent action pic.

I've liked Steven Sommers movies, yes even Deep Rising, they don't take themselves to seriously and they are fun. Thats all I ask out of a movie.

Now as long as they don't have some crappy rap group or half rap half rock group do the theme song we should be ok.

Storm Shadow just doesn't look right to me. He reminds of one of the twins in The Matrix. Maybe I was just expecting everyone to look alittle closer to what they looked like in the cartoons. Snake Eyes is the only one that actually looks like Snake Eyes. Of course, this is just my .02.

I'm not a big G.I. Joe fan by any stretch, but I fail to see how anyone can associate it with the series merely based on the costumes being nothing like G.I. Joe. Call the damn thing 'Elite Squad' or 'Random Explosions from Washed up Actors' instead.
