Is this legit, Jurassic PArk Superbit?

I was just wondering if these were released in another region?

It's a box set for the Jurassic Park Trilogy in SuperBit format.

It smells like bootleg to me, but I was just curious.

Linky for the Stinky

*EDIT

Nevermind, Jurassic Park was not put out by Sony Pictures / Columbia

Yes, Region 3 has a TON of Superbit dvd's and they are all legit. Universal movies have dvd distribution by Columbia who does Superbit. Lotta good ones out there. Amazon.jp has a section on them.

Superbit is only for titles released by Sony Pictures (Columbia, TriStar).

The Jurassic Park movies are released by Universal.

Yes. They're completely 100% legitimate and you should buy 2 in case the first ones disintegrate.

We should probably elete-day the ink-lay

edit: If trespoochies is correct, then disregard my previous obnoxiousness.

Don't know if those exact discs are legit, but i suspect they are. As stated earlier, Columbia released JP in Europe & Asia & i know a few people who've got Japanese Superbit imports of the JP movies. Supposedly the DTS soundtrack is awesome.

Well well, I went to Amazon.jp and found all the Jurassic Park movies in SuperBit. I did NOT find the box-set though.

I know region 3 SuperBits supposedly work in US players, what about these?

We always do, Mani...we always do.

Yes, JP is a Superbit in R2/3. In fact, it's mentioned in this thread but I'll just move this over to Off-World Colonies for tidyness.

Yes, but only if you have a region-free player. A friend of mine got the Jurassic Park Superbit. I actually do not have the re-pressed Region 1 DTS version, but the Superbit is extremely well-done on the sound.

I have the repressed JP DTS disc (ahem...according to Universal who I called and bugged for about a month...I was one of the first in all of Canada to get it, in fact, they had to call the states to see if it had been repressed ) and I cannot imagine the Superbit to have better sound than it. Picture quality possibly, but sound...no way it could be improved.

The dvd box set that doubledowns links to can't be all superbit titles. Well for one it has "hidden" extra features sounds like balony to me, but anyways. How can a superbit title have extra features? Aren't they supposed to use the entire dvd for video and audio ONLY? Looks like that box set is a phony. The only superbit title I've heard of so far is Jurassic Park. Please correct if I'm wrong, but god dang I think I'm right

I have the R2 SUPERBIT of JURASSIC PARK and it is legit, i also have the second pressing of the R1 dts JURASSIC PARK and can say with all honesty that the JAPANESE s/bit shits all over the dts version (pardon the french)Here are the facts.Japanese R2 S/BITS are NOT multi-region,but R3 (HongKong & Korean) S/BITS ARE multi-region (except SPIDER-MAN)On a side note if you want quality dts titles it now looks like you have to look toward Korea,HongKong & Japan. Here are my latest aquisitions- HULK (3 disc),SPIDER-MAN (superbit deluxe)EQUILIBRIUM (totally cool packaging)UNDERWORLD,TOMB RAIDER 2,LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN,DANCES WITH WOLVES (4 disc in genuine rawhide case with eagle feather tie up)FIGHT CLUB and T3.I've actually given up buying dts dvd's from America now which is a real shame.
