Since I was able to get my families Cyberhome player to be region free.

I now am happy to say,I have the option to get the correct versions of some films not available uncensored in the U.S.,though will need money for importing,which I lack at the moment,lol.

So I was looking up dvds at yesasia.com which seems to be a reliable place I am told & has free shipping(ahh no outrageous import shipping fees!).

I am interested in #1..getting Kill Bill uncensored Japanese release($38) when released.

But also saw the Korean dvds of Scream & Malena. Are those the uncut versions? I know Malena is the longer original cut,but is the nudity fogged at all? I want my film fully uncut! Is Scream uncut? How is the quality? I have that on laserdisc,but would love to get it on dvd if possible. The soundtrack is important in this case(much louder than the R version). So the dvd better be properly mixed. If it is not,then it is useless regardless of being uncut or not.

I also think it would be a great triple smack to Miramax,would love to send a photo of myself with my dvds of the correct versions & giving them the finger

Beware of films from Korea, as the good stuff (nudity) often gets trimmed. (No pun intended.)

Korean Malena is not blurred or cut with English subtitles on, but is with the Korean on... weird I know. Even with Korean on it doesn't really block it out, only put a dark circle on it making it harder to see. The movie is also region free despite the region 3 markings. It plays on my region 1 player just fine as does the bonus disc.

Not sure about the Korean disc, but i've got the Japanese Scream disc (from Amazon.co.jp) & it's decent. Anamorphic & 5.1 with the choice of either cut of the film. I didn't have any issues with the sound at all, but i don't have the LD to compare it with so i'm not sure if it's the same mix.
