James Bond 20 movie collection for $125?

I have a friend who is considering buying this, I'm positive it's either a bootleg, or low quality Hong Kong DVDs. Anyone know about it?

I'd think it's a bootleg. Some of the other sets on there seem extremelt fishy. They've got 24 with season 4, The Shield with season 4, Deadwood with season 2...

Plus, they say this:

*These are foreign manufactured sets, however, all DVD's are in english and will play in any US DVD player. No fancy boxes just savings.

They're probably all cheap Hong Kong DVDs, like you said.

Just my 2 cents of course.

That looks shakey enough to me that I wouldn't put down my hard earned money for that set. I'm a big 007 fan myself but I have avoided buying the sets simply because they're priced so high and because there's often 007 marathons shown on cable. Over the years I've been able to record the movies off of tv to add to my DVD collection. The only ones I bought on DVD have been Spy Who Loved Me, Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day and to this day I wish I hadn't spent the money on them.

I'd have to agree, that site looks like Bootleg City.

I can't stand bootlegs, I got suckered on Ebay once and ended up with a bootleg copy of ST: Voyager season 1. I was pissed!!

I've talked him out of it. Those are undoubtedly bootlegs. Personally Enron, I like to collect the DVDs, TV broadcasts look like crap(especially when you have a 120in screen). Plus they just look great on the shelf next to each other.
