DIE HARD 4.0 Unrated V's Theatrical ?????

I've just returned from Hong Kong with DIE HARD 4.0 on BLU-RAY plus a couple of weeks ago i received the R3 Unrated edition & having watched BOTH i cannot see any differences between the DVD & BD Disks & the theatrical edition i saw in the cinema here in Bangkok, Thailand. Maybe the Asian cinemas got the Unrated version.Sorry to disappoint u guys but Brucie boy still does NOT get to say YIPPIE-KI-YAY MOTHER FUCKER with out it being drowned out by the gun firing. The movie looks and sounds so good tho, so its a MUST HAVE. Do what i did and get the BOXSET (listen to the snow blowing in Die Hard 2- WOW!!!!)

Supposedly some more blood and extra shots of carnage, along with R-rated dialogue.

In the theatrical cut, much of the dialogue was overdubbed, and you can tell.

Yes, I ordered the Region 3, 8 disc set too.
For $60 for the 4 films, hard to pass up.

You didn't get the unrated then, as i just finished watching it & the differences are instantly noticable. Bloody deaths, a handful of 'fuck' & 'motherfucker's (including the full line at the end) and a few changed lines of dialogue are what's new.

I watched the R3 today, and it seems to be the same as the theatrical,
although I can't be 100% sure, though the editing of the Yippee Ka scene seemed a bit different.... runtime on the R3 is 129 minutes.

The differences are noticeable, but also fairly minor. There's only a little extra blood, and most of the instances of the word "fuck" are in places where you can't see Willis' mouth, which makes it obvious that the movie was shot with the idea in mind to make it easier to tip the scales toward PG-13 or R.
