US PS3 and Non-US discs? Also Kill Bill?

What regions (countries) are playable with a standard US Playstation 3? Do any of those countries have the color version of Kill Bill 1 available?

Pretty sure you guys only have Japan in region A with you. Luckily, Japan is in fact the only place the colour version was released. Unluckily, it's not on BD yet though.

According to BluRayRegionCodes.com the North American release of both the Kill Bills are region free, so there's a good chance they will be released region free in other parts of the world too.

But since Japan's region A and they're the ones with the colour version you're probably alright either way.
