Mail In Movie Rebates
I am getting tired of all the mail in rebates for DVD's. Besides asking for original receipt(most of the time), they make you rip up the booklet or cover to get the proof-of-purchase.
Can't they just include a proof-of-purchase that does not need to be cut out of the cover or booklet? I as a collector will not cut out anything for a few bucks. Now I just hope they would find a better way to do the proof-of-purchase. ------------------ JRamos Last edited by Taxi : 12-31-2005 at 12:43 AM. Reason: Removed affiliate link |

Do you think this is deliberate? Are companies making these offers knowing some collectors won't take advantage of them because they don't want to cut the booklet or cover?
I think the best solution would be a postcard that would be considered as the proof of purchase and would have all the rules on it and space for filling out your name and address. What's really stupid is when there is a separate insert announcing the offer, but you still have to cut up the booklets. Why not just make that insert count as the POP? The Bond box had one of these. |
