Blatant plug - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I normally don't do this, but I'm kind of proud of something I did, and wanted to share...

On New Year's Eve, The Movie Channel is airing Friday the 13th, parts one through 8. Just before each movie, there will be a short little spoof of "Behind The Music," treating Jason as a real person who got his big break on the series, got famous, and got too big for his britches. I wrote and produced them, and play the son of Jason's "late agent."

Granted, I hope you all have places to go on New Year's Eve, but if you happen to be around a tv with the movie channel, or if you feel like dusting off the old vcr (remember those?), I'd sure like to get an opinion or three. There is also one spot airing the rest of the month, hyping the movie marathon on New year's Eve. You all pride yourself on brutal honesty, so I'd really appreciate knowing what you think...

Sounds cool, but a lot of us don't have the Movie Channel (for some of us, the lack of movies in OAR is one reason). Will these eventually be shown elsewhere? How long are the segments?

Oh, I wouldn't apologize for posting the plug, either. If I actually created something that made it to TV (other than on "Cops", that is), I'd be telling everyone, too.

Congratulatoins from me as well. I don't have the Movie Channel or else I would watch it. I can only repeat the afforementioned question and ask if it will be available elsewhere later on.

I'll throw in my congratulations as well, and that I don't have TMC either. We're considering getting a dish but I don't think I'd be wired in time to catch it.

As of now, it probably won't be available anywhere else. Oh, well, story of my life...I'd invite you over to watch it, but it's probably a hell of a commute for most of you
