Did anyone else see this coming with ToyStory2? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

A re-release of the film with out takes?

Does anyone think that this is a cheap way of doing this. Instead of having two seperate gag rolls, they just don't have one to begin with and then release the gag reel to get people back in the theater. This just irritated me a tad...

What a rip off!

Just when you think Disney's starting to come around they go and do something like this!

They did put two of the outtakes up on their site if you want an early look of what I won't be seeing until the DVD comes out.

I guess for those who will be seeing this multiple times anyway, it doesn't really matter, but it just seems so exploitative to me.

Another way to look at it is "Wow, how nice of them to add a treat for the fans coming to see it again."

Nobody says you actually have to buy a TS2 ticket to see the outtakes (hint: multiplex).

Yeah! what a "rip-off!". They sure screwed all of us who went to see it early! All we got was a quality film! We got absolutely SCREWED out of an additional 1 1/2 minutes of material!

We need to boycott Disney for this! Its just like when you go and pay to see a movie in the theaters, and then find out that they people who waited and got it on video got a bunch of extras with it!

How exploitive! Disney is doing nothing but forcing their hands into you wallets making you pay to see the movie a second time to see the reel! Its THAT important! Disney cheated us all out of SO much this time!

A number of lengthy letters should surely be written to Disney about such exploitive practices.

While we are all at it, we should write to them complaining about how unfair it is that anybody who does not live in the Los Angeles area does not get to enjoy any of the movie related extras that Disney exhibits at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood! You can only experience THAT if you travel out to LA!

They MUST be stopped!

well, sure.. it's wrong for disney to release the outtakes after a period of time to make more money.. but if i went to see it the first time, when they didnt' show the outtakes, and found this out.. i wouldn't get that mad about it.. hey.. it's just outtakes.. nothing special there! i won't go jumping up and down watching 'em anyways.. but for your information.. i did see them.. and i did get a kick from them.. but the movie is what i went to the theatre for.. not the outtakes.. just wait for it to come out on dvd or something.... but make sure you wait for the outtakes to be included there
