Where can I find a list of new releases?

I guess the topic says it all. I am looking for a site that lists all new realeses to DVD every week.

Hi Istagi,

You might want to try the www.amazon.com DVD page. They have a week by week listing under the New and Future Releases link.

You could also go to www.DVDPlanet.com (aka Ken Cranes). Not only do they have a week by week listing, but you can sign up for their weekly annoucement of new releases and get an email every week for the next week's releases.
www.TheDigitalBits.com also has a listing of upcoming cover art that is seperated by release dates. That's how I found out that the upcoming release of Frankie & Johnny wasn't the movie with Al Pacino and Michelle Pfiffer (sp?) .

I've thought of asking about this myself. DVD Review does a pretty good job..their lists seem to cover all the bases, but still I've missed a few lesser-known titles by relying on them. Same for Amazon..they don't carry *every* DVD so of course they can't list them all.

I think there should be a site devoted just to this All press releases, date changes, etc, posted as soon as they arrive.

Don't forget the old stand-by: Image Entertainment DVD News. Still the best source for DVD disc news.

(Note for the old timers: remember when all the DVD web pages used to list the updating of this page as news? Now it happens so often (Every week) that folks hardly notice anymore.)

Taxi: Ha!

Yeah, I'd always get a little frustrated by 'em because I'd be like "Dude! I know how to get back to the page!"

Tom, you'd have to send that one to webmaster@dvdfile.com.

But really, when the Image page is so well done, why should anybody else try to duplicate all that work?

Thanks Taxi that is exactly what I was looking for.

Blade, I read The digital bits religiously but was having real trouble keeping the dates straight.

I love the Upcoming Artwork on the Bits because it's mostly just the major release stuff which is what I'm primarily interested in. The problem I've always had with the Image listing is that there's almost too much stuff to wade through for what I want to know.

My only problem with the Upcoming Atrwork section at the Bits is that it doesn't keep old lisitngs. I've emailed them before about keeping at least several of the previous weeks up just for a goo dlisting of what to buy. I thought they'd started doing so too for a while but it looks like they just hadn't updated for a while because now they're back to removing the previous weeks.

There used to be a site, www.thedvdlist.com , but the person maintaining the site gave it up due to time/resource limitations.

I've taken to writing myself notes when I see a title I want and then updating my DVDTracker list periodically.
