Dolby Digital intro/fanfare question

Ok, how many of the Dolby Digital (AC-3) intro/fanfares have you seen?

I've seen the Space on on T2UE, the Egpytian one on the Star Wars Trilogy LDs, and the train on Star Wars Episode I (and a few other AC-3 LDs).

Which one do you like the best?

Peace.....

There is also a jungle/forest scene that I have witnessed in theatres, it is pretty wicked, probably my favourite. I wish they would put more dd intros on dvds, and I would like to get a new dts intro, the piano and chorus is nice and all, but I want something new!

Hmmmm... I don't think I've seen this one... I'll have to be on the look-out for it!

Peace....

I always thought the DD "Temple" trailer was the coolest. I think it's on the "La Famme Nikita" DVD, but don't quote me on that.
The "City" trailer (the one that was on most DD LD's) is my least favorite (but I'd rather have this one than none at all).

The DVD Spectacular disc has 4 of the trailers on it:

Train
Egypt
City (the one with the helicopter)
Canyon

I have this available for trade/sale if anyone wants it.

Dolby has a DVD available directly from the Dolby Store that has most of their trailers. Here's the link:

Dolby Store

It's titled "'We've Got the Whole World Listening' The Dolby Digital Demo (version 1.5)"

This one includes the following trailers:

Aurora
Rain
City
Train
Canyon
Egypt
Game

As well as a background video into Dolby's history.

It also includes a few musical selections that. One of which has an acapella group singing (different person from each speaker).

The cost is $15, $20 including shipping... the only bad thing about it is it comes in a CD case, not a DVD sized case.

Out of curiousity, are the trailers on that disk anamorphic? Dolby has yet to respond to any of my emails asking that.

Clortho, I've got the disc and I don't think the trailers are anamorphic ....but I'll check on it, and post back.

Clortho...
The trailers are NOT anamorphic.

Back to the thread at hand... I like the canyon and Egypt trailers the best.

Thanks Sean. I still might pick up this disk someday, but for now I have most of them on the dvd that came with DVD Demystified (1st & 2nd Editions), and it does have some of them anamorphically transferred. Obviously they had to get those from Dolby, so it seems a little odd that Dolby would not use the same tranfers. Oh well!

Back to the topic at hand..
