Chances are that there will be someone that will break the code used for this. They try to protect everything, be it software companies *chough*Microsoft*chough* or others. A copy of Office for instance or other program for that matter is keyprotected, AKA registrationnumber. A little software makes a key that is valid. Something that is protected by programmers can be hacked or cracked by others (programmers). Just mt thought on the subject.

I was initially thinking that I would just buy an extra non-"enhanced" HD or two when the time came to stock up for the future, but it looks like they want to make it where you can't even d/l onto a drive unless it has the copy protection feature.

We had a thread on this beofre when it first broke and I'll say again what I said then: it's neve going to happen. Consumers won't out up with that.

Miggy: yep, I see now that the article is coming from the mars magazine. I havn't heard anything about it except this actually.
