Progressive Scan

I noticed the news story:
>August 20: New Panasonic progressive out player

This is in fact not the first progressive scan DVD player out. The Toshiba models SD5109, SD9000, & SD9109 All offer Progressive Scan. Apparantly Toshiba had a line of them go out and were unable to pull them back and it's a little known about mistake on Toshiba's part. As far as I understand Toshiba invented progressive scan.
I own the SD-9000 which i had to order from the States as it wasn't available here in Canada to me. Every review I've seen on the SD-9000 had the reviewer saying something to the effect of "They're not getting this player back, it's staying with me."
I'm loving mine on my 65" Toshiba TW65H80
widescreen.
