Televizer from i-glasses.com
I just ordered Televizer from i-glasses.com. Has anyone of you got the same bundle?? It's a portable DVD-player and a set of LCD-display goggles. I've already ordered, so I'm not looking for other tips, I'd like to know from people who have the same. If you want to check it out it's at http://www.i-glasses.com but if you enter via http://www.mrgadget.com you get a 200$ discount if you order the set.

thanks for cleaning, Taxi.
I just received the set to the office today. I had "Deconstructing Harry" with me, so I could try it out on the spot...soon, everybody crowded round my workspace and wanted to have a peek. I must say, although the screen resolution is "only" 180'000 pixel per screen (there is one for each eye), the overall quality of the image is quite good, comparable to a video beamer in the mid-range (...better than Unca Dom's though ). Sound quality is good also, I couldn't try the virtual surround yet but I expect it to be not "quite" the origial sourround-like quality...we'll see (hear, rather). Of course, the funky looking headgear is an eye-catcher, and I'm not quite sure yet whether I will ever be watching a movie in, let's say, a train...my boss liked it though...I'll test more thoroughly tonite after work. Anyone interested in the results? |
