Using X10 to control home theater.
Has anyone here used X10 control modules to control their home theater? I just ordered a freebie kit, and was wandering if anyone had any good or innovative ideas on how to use it. So far, the best thing I can think of is to control lighting for ambience... Plus its always cool to control things without leaving your chair.
Also, Has anyone used the "DVD Anywhere" or "MP3 Anywhere" kits? How well do they work?>> Dave M. << P.S. If anyone is interested in getting the free starter kit ($5.90 shipping), please use my link to do so. (If you refer 3 people, you get additional software... I will remove my link if I get 3 refferrals, so someone else can post theirs...) The URL is - http://www.x10.com Thanks anybody who used my link to order! Feel free to post your own to get referrals. (mine has been removed, the above link is generic.) - Dave M. [This message has been edited by Dave M (edited 08-25-1999).] [This message has been edited by Dave M (edited 08-25-1999).] |

In order to refer people, just go back to the WWW.X10.COM site, using the generic address, WWW.X10.COM, and you should see an item that says "limited time offer for returning guests". click on that, you give them your address, and they will send you an email with a "referral link."
