Strange Playback....? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I have recently noticed that a few disc are playing back kinda strangely. I start with the Matrix. I have watched it several times...and never noticed anything...Then Last night when they all travel back into the Matrix and the Camera is revolvind around the Telephone. I noticed that as soon as it showed all of them standing there it appeared to freeze...then played fine. Is this the layer change? I never noticed it before.

Also on my Aliens and Alien disc I have noticed the same thing. That it will freeze and Play fine. Do you thing that I just never noticed the Layer changes before...

I am using a Pioneer DV-525.

Sounds like a layer change to me.

I know the Matrix one is right about when he throws the phone into the garbage can.
