Proscan DVD Problems

I have looked everywhere to see reviews for any Proscan DVD players, but ala there are none. Now I shall turn to the loyal people at this forum. Can someone tell me why my 1 year old Proscan is tweakin out on me like a kitten on LSD? Layer changes are hell, and the "Heat" dvd freezes up occasionally. Anyone else have a Proscan or have these problems?

I used a Proscan for about 10 months, and had very few problems with it. My brother has been using one since Christmas, and it has function flawlessy, even though it was a beat-up ex-store demo from the Bellevue Circuit City.

Don't know what to say about your problems, except to get some professional advice. Layer changes in my Proscan were seamless, and the Heat disc played fine.
