sony vcr slv-779hf and cable mouse

hey,

not sure if anyone here would know, but its the only home theater resource I visit. I have a sony slv-779hf and I've recently gotten cable tv. The VCR has an option to add a cable mouse remote to control the cable box. I've lost my manual and I'm not sure which model cable mouse I need.

I went on ebay, and purchased a cable mouse that had no model number or version number. It didn't work. The plug was too small as the outlet on the back fits a 1/8 plug, and the one on this cable mouse was much smaller. I know you can purchase them from sony directly, but its 70 bucks and thats a bit out of my range. I also see on ebay that there are cable mice with a version number imprinted like 2.1 and 2.2 however the model number is the same which is RM-CM101.. So since I got this one without a version number and it doesn't work.. I'm thinking that one of these others might, of course its just guess works since I don't have the manual.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction, or has an extra one lying around... I'll give ya 10 bucks for it.
