Is it true that I can crack the region code of a Toshiba SD-3109 with a software only?

There's no permanent hack that I can find but to play multi region discs try:

Enter the disc.
Press STOP before the RCE warning sign (world map)
Press T button twice to bring up time input.
Enter 1 second
Press PLAY

You'll have to do this with every disc though. Hope this helps.

My Toshiba sd 3109 doesnt even read CDR discs, so cracking it with some special software would be tough.
