component video and moola

I noticed most TVs with componnent video input are big 2000 dollar TVs. Are there any cheap smaller (27-36) non WS TVs with component video? Are they all digital?

I've seen a 25-29" Toshiba with component before. Not progressive scan or widescreen though. Don't remember the model number.

Yeah, my parents just bought a 27" Toshiba from Best Buy for somewhere around $299, and it had component inputs. I also do not remember the model number, but if you go to www.bestbuy.com you should be able to find it.

If you prefer pan 'n scan because you hate those "black bars" on widescreen movies, click here.

Yes.. my Sony Wega KV27FS12 (FS13 for the current mode) has component video... I think it's around $500.. Not the cheapest, but it's a FD. And, I don't think you will notice the difference between component and s-video if you go for anthing cheaper/smaller.

My 36" Toshiba has component video inputs. Be careful of what the salesmen tell you. They insisted my TV did not have component inputs. I had to actually show them on the TV before I bought it that it did. I can't recall my model # but I've seen it selling for about $799 at Best Buy or American TV here in Des Moines, Iowa. Good Luck!
