DVD picture

If I use a DVD instead of a VCR will I see a difference in the picture if my TV is 6 years old?

Yes!! Big yes. Even if it's not too huge of a difference to you, it will also never degrade like tape.

My TV is way older than that, and the difference is huge.

Nobody should be hesitating to take the DVD plunge!

I have a 13 year old RCA 27" that was the top of the line at the time and the piture is really surperb. It has an S-video connection. I think it looks better than modern 27" ,non-HD of course.
