JVC (only) DVD Player suggestions

My friends father is jumping into the world of DVD and is dead set on getting a JVC DVD player. With that said, he is looking for progressive capabilities (next up will be a TV w/component connections), and that's pretty much it. My friend will be buying the player and I imagine his price range is somewhat limited, lets say $300 tops. Suggestions ???

Hows about the JVC XVFA90BK. It's a 7 disc progressive scan changer.
