Which DVD player should I buy?? (BTW, has to play MP-3s)

If you've read my reply in the "Glitch Exhaust" area, you know that I'm looking to upgrade one of my DVD players.

http://www.dvdfile.com/interactive/f...838#post273838

I currently own a Panasonic DVD-A320 and an Aiwa XD-DV370, DVD/CD. The player that I want to replace is the Panasonic DVD player. It was my first DVD player, I bought it without doing research, and it has certain glitches.

I've browsed the forums here and have read many Pro's and Con's about different brands. I'm looking for a player that is high quality, is user-friendly (the Aiwa XD-DV370 is not), will play most anything, has the R,G,B, Video Outputs and will play MP-3s.

Any advice is appreciated!!

What kind of budget are you looking at?

Out of my 6 DVD players the only one that plays MP3s is the Malata. If you are looking to spend around $250 I would recomend taking a look at it. It has a ton of features (like MP3 playback), but more importantly it's a fully multi-region capable player with fantastic PAL conversion.

Anyway, just an idea. (as I kick back to watch some more Red Dwarf)

Most major brand DVD player manufacturers have a model that supports MP3s. Toshiba, JVC, Hitachi, etc. You won't have a problem finding one. Check VCDHelp for a massive DVD player features list.

Try the Panasonic DVD-RP82. You can stick with the Panasonic brand and the DVD-RP82 does play MP3 and CD-R/CD-RW, etc...

Good luck!

Peace.....
