what do you guys think of this (pictures at the bottom) my dad is considering buying a new DVD/VCR combo and i sort of view it like multiregion players-is there a good, but do you guys know anything about this one, he doesnt need anything major, progressive scan or anything, but will this hold up

Price?

I haven never cared for these two in one units. If one thing goes wrong, you are then withoug BOTH play back devices till you get it fixed.

Pros:
  • one unit
  • one remote
  • one set of patch cables

Cons:
  • no DD decoder
  • no dts decoder
  • no SVHS

It all depends on how you view space management, and convienence.

One of those doors (the wrong one) says hi-fi stereo, does that mean it plays SACD?
