Question for Sony DVP-NS715P DVD player owners
What video settings to you use? Do you use "Cinema 1" or "Cinema 2"? Also, do you have "BNR" turned on? If so, what setting do you have, 1, 2, or 3?
I'm performing comparisons of the Sony to my Pioneer DV-656a and I'm trying to find the "best" video settings on the Sony to reduce some "noise" that I'm seeing. Thanks.... Peace....

I have the NS700P and I turn BNR off. I figure any "enjancements" probably just add noise like too much sharpness would.
As for the other one, I have it set to Standard. Again, for the same reasons.

So then do you go with "Custom" as the video mode w/ BNR off? I did find the various BNR settings DID help to reduce some noise I'm seeing......
Peace.....
