DVD player breaking down?

I just bought the BTTF trilogy and none of the discs will play on my player. My other DVDs play just fine. I checked disc one of the BTTF set in my PS2 and it plays just fine. I've experienced this a time or 2 before with other DVDs but it usually plays after a couple of times of getting the "disc error" message.

I have a Toshiba SD-1200 and it's approx. 2 1/2 years old. Is there something wrong with my player? Has anyone heard anything from Toshiba on problems with this model? Does it need to be cleaned?

If my player is crapping out on me, can anyone offer some suggestions for a 5-disc player that's not too terribly expensive.. maybe around the $200 range.

That is a VERY old player! See if you can get the Panasonic CP72 5-disc CD/DVD changer. It should make a GREAT upgrade for you!

Also, check out the "Glitch Exhaust" to see if others are having similar problems on their players.
