Subwoofer Question
Does the line of your speakers have to match the line fo your sub? Or can you just buy any sub and it'll still be timbre matched?

No, your sub doesn't have to be the same manufacture as your other speakers. Timbre matching is not something that is a big concern when it comes to subwoofers.

Like SeanL said it wont matter. Right now (inclusing my sub) i have 3 different brands of speakers connected to my Marantz Receiver.
RCA for my Surrounds and for my Centre (old HTiB set) Mission for my Front L&R Velodyne as my Power Sub What subs are you looking at possibly getting for your HT?

I have the CHT-8 Velodyne. I almost went with a Yamaha or Sony but in the end after watching Behind Enemy Lines with this sub on. I knew i wanted this sub for my room.
Just awesome LFE in it.
