Interference from new receiver

I just upgraded from a Dolby Surround receiver to a new Dolby Digital receiver. The first few days everything was wonderful and as of yesterday I am receiving interference when I play DVDs or watch anything on the television (i.e. satellite, broadcast channels through antenna, XBOX) while the receiver is on. Anyone have any suggestions?
The Sat and DVD are running through the receiver via S-Video and everything else is through RCA cords. The speakers are shielded.

Check your main video connection from your receiver to your TV. It may just be one bad cable. Swap the cables out with other cables. Also test your satellite and DVD connections with regular RCA cables to see if the same interference occurs, so you can rule out the S-Video cables as the problem.

If it's none of those, disconnect all video connections to the receiver, and then re-connect each component one-by-one, testing each connection before connecting something else.

It may just be overlapping cables, but usually, this doesn't generate that much interference to be visibly noticeable.

I'll try those things. I haven't had the chance to test them yet but will do so this weekend. It;s very odd since it only started yesterday after being hooked up since the 27th of December.
