Looks like Denon updated the 4802 instead of replacing it.

The first thing I noticed in the PDF on their site was the THREE Component inputs for 2K

I may jsut have to get THIS instead of the Rotel RSP1066

I just bought my AVR-4802 a couple of months ago.

But it's not too big of a loss, the only added extra for the AVR-4802R looks to be THX Ultra² certification, and a different remote.

Too bad really. I would've waited and got the AVR-4802R if it had significant upgrades from the 4802 (which kicks ass by the way).
