just got my panasonic RP91!!!! - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

HOLY CRAP DOES THIS PLAYER ROOOOOOCK!!!!

i tested a few DVD for sound and pic quality and it was LEAPS AND BOUNDS BETTER than my panny A115.

the picture quality alone is stunning, there is SO much depth to it.

and the SOUND....

i am at a loss for words in describing the quality.... i can't wait till i get my HDTV !!!!

...oh, and it looks awesome too

i can't recommend this player enough!!!

Congrats on the new player Wynter!

I've had my RP-91 for about 6 months now and love it.

The main reason I got it was for the scaling features it has. But was pleasantly suprised by the improved picture quality I got compared to my Sony progressive scan player.

If you have alot of non-anamorphic and 1.33:1 discs you'll love the scaling feature, when you get your 16:9 HDTV.

What deinterlacing setting are you using? Auto1 or Auto2? Just curious.

Always Auto 2.
