Apex Ad-1110w

Okay as some people here know my Sony DVD player recently died on me. I am looking in to what features I want in a new player right now. Since I havnt had a chance to look and finances are kinda tight right now I decided to buy a little cheapy DVD player until I can get what I want. I bought the APEX AD-1110W for $50 bucks at Walmart today. I gotta tell ya I am pretty impressed by the litttle thing. It is by no means the greatest player ever but it does a bang up job for what it is. I was pleasently suprised. I just thought I would let people know in case they are looking for a cheap alternative until they can get something nicer

$49.57

Apex DVD/CD/MP3 Player AD-1110W

• Plays DVD, SVCD, CD, CD/R and CD/RW

• S-video and composite video outputs

• Digital and analog audio outputs

hey, that player has a built-in NTSC <-> PAL converter. You might be able to hack it to make it an all-region player.

I've got the AD-1500 from Walmart and I did the firmware upgrade and I now have a small collection of PAL and Asian DVDs
