DVD In A Bag

I am going to be leaving the islands at the end of the summer, and there is a very good chance that I'll be driving cross country when it happens.
If I do that, I have been thinking about getting a portable DVD player for my son to watch during the trip.
I have been looking at the Audiovox DVD In A Bag
I was wondering if anybody has used one of these. What they are like...etc.

We just recently bought a portable dvd for basically the same purpose. We decided against "dvd in a bag" because you're truly limiting the functionality to a car. You can't take it on a plane at all.

We ended up getting the Mintek 1710 (I think) from Best Buy. It came with both a wall and car adapter all for the low low price of $349. Its got a bigger screen (7" vs 5" if I remember correctly) and was just a little cheaper.

Its been working great for us.

Is the screen 16:9? The DVD in the bag appears to be 4:3.

I'll have to look for that one.
unfortunately it's not at the Base Exchange here, (where I've got a decent coupon) and I have no Best Buy. I may have to check out Circuit City.

Well, I finally got a portable player. The Mintek 1710. Paid $279.
So far, we've been very happy, and my son is looking forward to watching a lot of movies when we drive cross country.
