Making Speaker Stands - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Hi there, I need speaker stands for my rear left and right channel speakers. I could buy them but I thought it would be fun just to make them. Anybody have any tips or anything they can give me to help me make speaker stands?

They need to be about 3 feet high and support small speakers about 4 inches wide and 2 inches long.
