Component video splitter - does it exist?

I just bought a television with two component inputs and, in order to hook up my DVD player, X-Box and HD cable, I need at least a third input. Is there such a thing as a component video splitter that would increase the number of component jacks on my television? I've looked around the internet and all I can find are RCA standard-def splitters.

Hopefully my question makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been using a standard RCA switch for my component video. It passes the 480p/1080i signals just fine, for my purposes. It's passive, though, which some may claim it will cause a loss of quality. That is quite possible, but I haven't seen any loss on my set. Here's an older thread that may be of some help, as well as this one.

I got one from AV Toolbox, it has a video bandwith of 100mhz as opposed to the 10mhz of a simple av switch. Whether it makes a diffrence or not I dont really know, but it wasnt much more expensive than a regular av switch and it has a remote, it also has two component outputs, which is nice.

Hey, they also have a convertor for spiders. Apparently it upconverts spiders into extra lines of resolution for most tv's !!!

I'm using the JVC JX-S111

I did a direct compare with an HD 1080i signal and couldn't tell any difference. I'm sure there is some loss, but I couldn't tell mostly becuase my equipment isn't all that high end.

There are more pics in the link from my sig, about half way down.

Thanks for the info, everybody. I wasn't looking forward to crawling behind my television with a flashlight every time I wanted to switch between the X-Box and the DVD player.

You want a switch, not a splitter

This one comes highly recommended around the net. Nice cause it has digital audio as well.
