HDMI - a new, hi-def video connector?!

In addition to component cables and DVI, we might have HDMI cables, soon.



Check 'em out, here.

Yamaha has a reciever with them, already! Only four and a half grand!

Yeah, this one cable is supposed to send out HD copy protected signals, DVD-Audio and SACD quality sound in the digital realm. Pioneers new DVD player has it for 1080i video and SACD, DVD-A and DVD-V sound. Very cool connection. Will make connecting DVD players so much easier.

Here is a thread on AVS Forum with info on HDMI --> DVI converting connectors, for those with TVS with DVI ports.
