Best Adjustments for too dark?
I've notice that on dark scenes on HD movies and on DVD,s that my TV is very dark and sometimes hard to see what's happening! What are the best adjustments to make? I normally watch these movies in a darker room!
My TV also has setting for picture temp, should it be "warm, cool or normal"?

As for warm cool etc..one has more red, the other has more blue, I forget which is which, but I know for somereasone they are backwards on my x1.
The best thing to do would be, of course to, to go out and get a calibration disc like digtal video essentials. I havent used that one yet but I hear its great for DLP/ LCD. Short of that, I would suggest adjusting both the contrast and brightness settings up, until the picture is more pleasing to your eye.

You can calibrate quickly with a DVD with a THX calibration on it. Try Finding Nemo if you have it. Or either of the Star Wars DVDs.
