Optical Audio Cable advice needed

I've tried to ensure that my JVC TH-A25 HTiB is sitting on a level surface, on the off chance that that might be the reason why I'm getting some scratches along the edges of some discs I play in it, but to no avail. I'm not sure if sending it back to the manufacturer for repair is a good idea, because I don't think the technicians there will have the patience to check and recheck discs for scratches along the outer edges...

... So, at least for now, I decided to hook up my other (Sony) dvd player to the JVC HTiB, using the JVC player/receiver purely as a receiver. The only thing I need (in order to get true DD or DTS sound) is an optical audio cable.

I've checked at futureshop.ca, and the only listing for optical cables that I can find is for the Intec optical audio cable (for Xbox and PS2). But it's $19.99, and I was wondering if anyone knew if Futureshop (or any other Cdn brick & mortar store) carried any other (possibly slightly cheaper) brand of optical audio cable. If not, will these Intec ones do the job of connecting my player to my receiver?

Thanks for the help.
