I checked them out online, the site seemed awefully weak. I am trying to research them on other forums.

From what I have read, there are definitely people that seem happy with them. However, they do not have anywhere near the buzz of Axiom, Rocket, or Ascend on any forum I looked at. In fact it was actually quite difficult to find any relevant conversation about them at all. I would say stay away from them unless you honestly have a problem with all of the more reputable companies out there and want to support this company.

I've bought a pair of their ceiling speakers - I'm pretty sure they had 5" woofs and a directional tweeter (they were a gift for my Sister). Her Hubby put them in the ceiling above the dining room/kitchen and they sound pretty darn good (yes, I cranked em up and tweeked the receiver a bit). That's the only ones I've listened to from B.I.C..
As far as a different center channel than the other 6? Well, I prefer a matching center to your two fronts - the sound usually will be far superior in creating a good front soundstage than mixing and matching. However, you may come across a center from company "A" that does blend well with company "B".....(occasionally that is ) |
